Lux-Söderlångvik Returns!
Experience the idyllic Christmas market in the carriage museum and encounter glowing figures in the manor’s park.

The journey will begin according to the schedule provided at the end of the travel program.

We will depart from Turku at 1:15 PM, heading towards Söderlångvik Manor. Upon arrival, you will have approximately 2.5 hours of free time to explore Alexander Reichstein's sculpture installations and soak in the warm atmosphere of the delightful Christmas market.

Returning this winter to Söderlångvik Manor's beautiful park are the steel wire sculptures, spray-painted with fluorescent paint, which first appeared last year. Encounter these magical human-like figures, which come to life like ghosts under UV light in the darkness of late autumn. At the Lux Söderlångvik event, Alexander Reichstein's (b. 1957) mystically fascinating sculpture installations walk through the garden, accompanied by background music, transporting you to a nostalgic atmosphere of days gone by.

For the day, admission to the manor, known as the summer villa of art patron and businessman Amos Anderson, is free, and the carriage museum has been transformed into a cozy Christmas market where you can find charming gifts for your holiday packages. The selection includes local handicrafts, delicacies, and a sales booth for the manor’s own apple farm products.

We will begin our return journey at 5:30 PM, and we expect to arrive back in the Turku area around 7:00 PM.
